Second Grade Essentials

My Project

Our second graders are smart and highly engaged. They love coming together on the carpet and listening to stories, learning new skills, and practicing what they have learned on their dry-erase boards. This helps build community and also gives them another area to move to during their free time.

Your donation will give our class a clean, soft place to sit.

We just moved classrooms, and our new room does not have a rug area, only vinyl flooring. The portable computer cart will allow me to move my laptop around the room with ease and project on the whiteboards at the front and back of the room.

The other materials and supplies that I am requesting are things that are essential to our second grade classrom. I have been borrowing my neighbor's laminator, but having one in my classroom will allow us to use it more frequently.

Our classroom uses the label maker for everyng. We label books, folders, student water bottles, computers, toy bins, student artwork, and organization tubs. It helps us stay organized and find items quickly. We are on our last tape roll and could really use a few more to finish off the year.

The remaining items are just things that our classroom needs, but our school does not have the budget for right now.
