This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I would like my students to be well rounded in their knowledge of technology. For that reason, in our Intro to Computer class they get exposed to coding via the Code.org Discoveries curriculum. Students will get to learn about problem solving, HTML, and programming games and animations.

My school is a Title I School, meaning that a lot of the students are of low income.

My students are motivated and eager to learn new and exciting things. There is a wide range of technological skills within my students, however, it is great seeing them working together and helping each other to complete their projects.

My Project

Thank you for looking at my project. Getting a second monitor will help me connect more with my students. Usually when I'm doing a lesson and sharing my screen on Zoom, I can not see all my students faces. Have an extra monitor will allow me to move the Zoom page on side and be able to share my screen on the other. Allowing me to deliver my lesson while at the same time be able to see my students. I feel this will enhance my lesson delivery because I will be able to see right away if anyone looks confused or is physically raising their hands instantly.
