Seats That Let Us Move

Help me give my students an adjustable wobble stool, donut cushions, and wobble chair feet.

My Project

Sitting still is not only challenging for active children, trying to remain still can interfere with a child’s ability to focus on learning. Being able to move can enhance the learning of those same children, but of course we can’t have kids running all around in a busy classroom. Seating options that permit children to move without going anywhere are a great option.

Flexible seating has made all the difference in my special education class and now it’s time for an upgrade.

I currently have one adjustable wobble stool, which is very popular, so I’m hoping to add another into the mix. I’d also like to add some donut floor cushions that colleagues of mine have had great success with. Finally, I’d like to try out some wobble chair feet that go under the feet if a standard school chair or stool and turn it into a wobble seat.
