This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These seats and cushions will allow my students to work comfortably on the carpet and focus on learning. My students often sit on the carpet with a clipboard and it is hard for them to focus and complete their work.

Movement is needed during learning as it improves focus and attention and can boost learning outcomes.

Therefore, my students often transition from their desk to the carpet during instruction. These seats and cushions are needed to allow them to do their work on the carpet. My students will be excited to see different seating modalities they can use to work on the carpet.
