This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am continually inspired by my students' resilience and hard work; they embody the spirit of persistence, tackling challenges with determination and a positive attitude. While their tenacity is commendable, I’ve observed that traditional school chairs can sometimes hinder their focus and engagement. To create a more engaging environment, I am requesting resources such as flexible seating options—bean bags, wobble chairs, and floor cushions—that will enhance their learning experience. By providing these alternatives, I aim to foster a classroom atmosphere that promotes comfort and movement, allowing them to express themselves freely while still maintaining focus on their studies. My primary goal is to create an inclusive space that caters to their diverse needs, ultimately inspiring them to become more active participants in their education. What makes my students truly special is their unwavering spirit; they rarely give up, and their determination is nothing short of remarkable. By offering them a more adaptable learning environment, I believe we can unlock their full potential and empower them to succeed academically and personally, cultivating a lasting passion for lifelong learning.
