My Project

Teaching inner-city students is truly one of the greatest joys of my career. My students are resilient, creative, and full of untapped potential. Many face challenges beyond the classroom, but they come in every day with big dreams, bold ideas, and a hunger to learn. What I love most is their authenticity and strength—they inspire me daily to be a better teacher, advocate, and role model.

Flexible seating will make a meaningful difference in my classroom by creating a more inclusive, student-centered learning environment.

My students come to school with diverse needs, learning styles, and energy levels—and traditional seating just doesn’t serve everyone equally. With flexible seating, students will have the opportunity to choose where and how they learn best, whether that means sitting on a floor cushion, standing at a table, or using bean bag chairs to stay focused.
