My Project

My students LOVE to wiggle and move-and they learn so much better when they do! I try to give them as many opportunities as I can to get their bodies moving but there are times when sitting in a chair for more than a few minutes is essential-like tests. I want every student in my class to have a variety of choices of chairs that best fit their learning needs.

Providing students with rolling chairs and wobble stools that allow them to move their bodies can make a huge impact on their learning.

Kids (and even adults) can't sit still for very long. Young students are expected to sit still in classrooms and pay attention for over 6 hours each day! Boredom, lack of focus, and acting out often happen as a result; this is especially true for kids with attention disorders, autism, and anxiety.
