This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Students learn best when they are empowered to lead their own learning. Providing students with choices about where and how they learn enhances their sense of ownership in their learning and supports their academic success.
This project aims to provide learning environment upgrades for third grade science and math students at our equity focus school.
Flexible seating options, which can easily be used indoors or outdoors, will encourage outdoor learning activities, especially when learning about weather and climate. Additionally, a set of game buzzers will foster excitement among students and allow them to participate in alternate ways of learning, like gameshows to review science and math skills.
We would greatly appreciate your contribution to our project, and we know that fully funding our project would make a huge difference in the lives of our diverse student population.
