My Students

My students are 10 yr old little people from different cultures, incomes and ethnic backgrounds. They are inquisitive, creative and love to to succeed.

They are an amazing group of students that I am thankful to share my days with.

My students work hard. Some of them struggle with staying focused and completing tasks. They especially love sharing their work with classmates and the rest of the school.

Our school is in Las Vegas and we are a title 1 school. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to help each student do their very best. I learn compassion, acceptance and so much more from them.

My Project

Having optional seating for students helps focus their attention on the task at hand. The balls will help keep their bodies strong and give an option in seating. New headphones will replace the ones we have that only work on one side.

Donating to our project will help students increase their attention and ultimately help them move successfully through the school year.

I have many students with special needs in attention deficit.

The bands help with my many students that need to fidget in order to concentrate. The ability to focus will help them succeed in grade 5 and move towards middle school.
