Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I'm teaching fourth grade. My students are much taller and continuing to grow throughout the year. I thought they'd enjoy new flexible seating. The flexible seating will be used around my reading table; so as they come over each child has a unique seat to make their own while they are reading with me.
As a child one of my favorite times of the week was library time, because we got to sit in bean bags and read books.
I'd like my students to experience that as well. There's nothing like sinking into a snuggly bean bag and getting lost in a book. I'm hoping my students will feel the same way!
