My Project

I teach 2nd grade and they have lots of energy!

Sitting at a desk all day is not the best way most students learn.

I often allow them to work with partners around the room and these seating options will give them comfy spots to sit. The confetti rug goes with my classroom theme: “Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti”. It will not only be used for comfortable seating options, but we will discuss how to show kindness each and every day during our morning meeting on the rug. What a great way to begin each day! Hopefully this positive start, will help with their social and emotional start to the day as well.

Please help me give my students a rug and different seating options for learning and exploring in the classroom.
