This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating offers numerous benefits for both students and teachers. It allows for a more personalized learning experience, where students can select seating that matches their individual needs, whether they work best sitting, standing, or moving around. This flexibility encourages increased focus, reduces distractions, and supports diverse learning styles. It also fosters collaboration by offering different seating arrangements for group work, making students more comfortable and motivated to engage in discussions and projects. By incorporating flexible seating, the classroom becomes a space that adapts to the students’ needs, helping them stay productive and energized throughout the day.

My students are truly deserving of a classroom that supports their unique learning styles and fosters an environment of creativity and independence.

They are hardworking, motivated individuals who show a strong desire to succeed, but many of them would benefit from the comfort and flexibility that these seating options provide. Flexible seating can help my students feel more in control of their learning environment, allowing them to thrive academically and socially. By providing them with this opportunity, we are investing in their future success, helping them develop skills that will benefit them both inside and outside of the classroom.
