My first grade students are full of energy and ready to learn! We love discovering the world around us. Each day in our classroom is filled with wonder and excitement as we grow into the best versions of ourselves. The small, rural community and school support us as we use our creativity to challenge ourselves and each other.
My students know that they can become anything they want to be, as long as they work hard to accomplish their dreams.

My Project
My class loves to work in small groups during reading and math. They collaborate with each other and learn together in a positive and supportive environment. We need yoga ball chairs and stools for students to sit on while they work at a small group table. Having different options for seating will allow each student to pick the chair that helps them focus. Some students like to wiggle on the yoga ball, while others like to sit on a stool. Both of these seating options are easy for my students to move around.
My students will be successful and engaged in learning when they can choose the seating option that works best for them.
