Seating for Scott's Scouts
My students need flexible seating options to cater to all their learning needs.
I teach energetic, fun-loving third graders in all subject content areas. My students are high-performing and are constantly needing to be challenged. They love to learn and thrive in a collaborative setting. While my kids are brilliant students, they also strive to have great character in and out of school. Each of them has responsibilities around the classroom to create our very own community. They're happiest when they're using their creativity and intelligence to help others and to grow as individuals!
Choice and preferential seating in a classroom can enhance our classroom experience in so many ways. These materials will allow my students to have multiple seating options. Flexible seating provides my more active students an outlet for their energy.
These seating options can allow students, who at some point might struggle, to stay focused.
Choice seating also allows students to feel comfortable and "at home" no matter what the subject, task, or assignment is while they are at school. The wobble discs, bouncy ball chairs, and wobble chairs also help students have better posture, which stimulates the brain, making them ready to learn!
