Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarteners have busy bodies! Part of our learning is centered around how to be great listeners while controlling our busy bodies. We embrace the fact that everyone learns differently and needs different support items to best assist us achieve our learning goals.

My classroom needs more diversity in seating choices to best help accommodate the many different learning styles my students have.

Having a variety of seating choices will allow my students to recognize their own needs and help themselves self-regulate in the classroom during instruction. The students will have the opportunity to try different seating options and select the best choice that accommodates their learning style during whole-group and small-group instruction.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
