My students need these wonderful alternative seating items to provide choice and comfort in their learning. I strive to have students excited about coming to school and learning!

My Students

My students are made up of a high poverty population, and just like other children, many of them have a difficult time sitting still in the classroom. My students have a variety of home settings, from homeless, foster families, single family incomes, and traditional families with and without jobs. They are very energetic students who need an outlet for their energy.

Life is a matter of choices, every choice you make, makes you!

I want to allow my students to have choices in the classroom. Choices of how they learn and where in the classroom they learn. I am creating an alternative seating classroom.

My Project

I strive to have my classroom different than others. I want my students excited about learning! These bean bag and bungee chairs will be used to provide alternative seating for students to have choice in their environment! Many students do not do well with the traditional desk and chair. I look for other ways for my students to be able to learn and arrange seating in the room. All of these bean bag and bungee chairs will aid in providing this for my students. Who would not want to come in and sit down on a bean bag or bungee chair to be comfortable in your learning? Choice of seating is a very valuable part of everyday life, why not in the classroom!
