Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom I like to give students choice. One way I do this is by offering flexible seating. A desk and chair are not always the best option for some students. The different seat options (rug area, wiggle chairs, clip boards, and fidget bands) allow students to be comfortable while learning.
I also love using different materials to help all learners.
Play dough is one of my favorite manipulatives to use. No matter the age it is a great teaching tool.
I would appreciate any assistance in helping purchase these items for my classroom. I know many students will be grateful too!
