Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic and inquisitive 4 and 5 year students. It is a diverse neighborhood and many students come from low-income households. I try to provide an environment that will spur their interests and be an outlet for their creativity.

My Project

This school year, there is a whole set of different rules. The social distance that needs to be kept in classrooms will come with its challenges. In Kindergarten, we always had students sharing supplies- from crayons to pencils to scissors. That cannot be done anymore. These seat storage packs will help each student have their own set of supplies and prevent them from being shared. Each student will be able to keep their own personal items without having to get up and walk around and get the supplies. We are all adjusting to these new rules and I want to make my classroom as safe as possible.
