My Students

For a first year teacher, my students are incredibly helpful. They are always seeking jobs to do in the classroom and are highly motivated to do their best work. They ask so many questions and have wonderful discussion about the topics we learn.

They amaze me everyday with their compassion, wonder, and desire to be great friends.

They have made my first year of teaching wonderful!

My Project

Due to the current heath crisis, students can not share materials and every student has their own supply bin. However, where everything is currently stored, it takes about 5 minutes for all 21 students to grab their needed supplies for lessons.

Having seat sacks will save the students and myself time by having all their necessary items right at their spot.

There will no longer be a need for sending two students at a time to get their supplies because everyone can grab their supplies at the same time. Students will no longer put their items in the wrong supply bin because it will go right in the seat they are sitting at. Their materials are less likely to be lost with only two places the materials can go.

The time saved just from having seat sacks can be devoted to more learning and result in less unstructured time during our day.
