My students are high energy and eager to learn. My kids are in a high poverty area with the majority having free or reduced lunch. This year I’m teaching another grade with only two subjects. I’ll also be teaching about 65 students science and social studies daily. Along with budget cuts, come cuts in technology, supplies, and causes larger groups. Larger groups don’t get everything needed to complete research or projects assigned. Having everything needed accessible will help tremendously with class management and time.
My goal is to get each student their own seat organizer so we can have room to do more research and experiments.
This is going to be a new experience for me teaching two subjects to multiple classes. I’m needing help. DonorsChoose.org and Sonic have donated to numerous projects throughout the years, and they’re my “go to” for supplies in the classroom. The kids love it!
If we had the seat sacks, it would free up much needed space on the tops of our tables. Usually their supplies and textbooks for four or more are piled in the middle of each table. It’s hard to see one another and concentrate with all that is right in front of you. The seat sacks could hold the textbooks and supplies that will be used by three classes. Life will be so much simpler with these wonderful seat sacks! They’re sturdy, can hold a lot, and lasts for years. I requested the larger size because I’m teaching older and growing kids this year. They will have bigger chairs and the large seat sacks will be perfect!
