My Students

Our class is a diverse group, made up of 35 eager minds. Students of various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds come together every day with one goal in mind...to succeed.

In addition to their diverse backgrounds, these students have a variety of learning needs.

They come to school with a thirst for learning that can be advanced further with effective small group instruction and technology.

Although my students come to school every day enthusiastic and motivated, they do not have access to some basic items that would be extremely beneficial to their progress and education.

My Project

Organization is key to being a well rounded student, as well as an essential life skill. My students need seat sacks so that they can keep their workspace neat and focus on learning.

With such a large class size, storage space is extremely limited.

Students currently have to leave books on top of their desk and/or on the floor because they have no more space inside of their desks. As a result, they often find it hard to focus. In addition, a great deal of instructional time is wasted handing out materials that can be easily stored in seat sacks. Seat sacks will allow for more storage of books and other necessary materials, leaving our desks and workspaces clutter free!
