This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello donors, I am a Dual-LanguageI Kindergarten teacher and I am requesting seat sacks for my students. We currently get duplicates of books and notebooks because my students are learning two languages. My students love the idea of being in a bilingual class, the only problem is that we do not have enough space to put away our books! With this in mind, we are requesting seat sacks. Seat sacks are similar to backpacks, with the exception that they hang over on the back of a chair, instead of someone’s back. My students would benefit from having seat packs that would allow easy access to stow away their materials and notebooks, in a place that is easy and practical.

Having these storage bags will allow my students to stay organized.

My students will be able to focus on instruction instead of wasting time looking for their materials.
