My Project

My student sit at tables; therefore, they do not have anywhere close to them to keep their needed supplies that are used throughout the day. So much time is wasted going back and forth between their coat cubbies and their seats. Seat sacks would give my students individual, close storage with easy access to their materials.

My goals are to limit wasted time, organize materials for easy access, and provide students with individual space.

My district is located in the second poorest county in the state; therefore, materials are limited. Unfortunately, many things are lost or broken because of lack of proper storage. Seat sacks would provide the needed storage that would give students ownership of their things and promote responsbility of taking care of those things.

My students are special because they come to school smiling and energetic most days even though many of them come from less than ideal homes. They are very loving and helpful towards each other and me. They truly make putting up with all the hassles in education worthwhile.
