Seat Pockets to Support our Executive Functioning Skills!

Help me give my students seat pockets to support their executive functioning and organizational skills in our third grade classroom!

My Project

The third graders in my class are hard working kiddos who put their all into whatever they do! I am constantly amazed by the work they produce in my classroom. We are a busy, busy classroom that moves quickly from one subject to the next throughout the day.

At 8 and 9 years old, my third graders are capable of amazing things, but we are still building our executive functioning skills- and for that, we need "Seat Sacks." The Seat Sacks will help my students organize their folders, Chromebook, and notebooks all in one place so the area around their desk is able to stay clean.

All of their materials will stay within a close proximity by using the Seat Sacks, making our transitions from one subject to the next much faster.

Building on my students executive functioning skills will ultimately teach my kiddos life long strategies for staying organized and being efficient in their day to day tasks. They will absolutely thrive in an organized classroom maintained by them! Thank you for considering our project.
