The students in my inclusion classroom are all hard workers, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
They are at different academic levels.
They all enjoy using technology and learning in different ways. They excel when they are learning in a fun and motivating way.
The students in my school are grateful for any tools, books, and resources to help with learning. They are helpers, thinkers, and learners. They want to be successful in everything they do. These students are 21st-century learners.
My Project
My students need Chair Pockets to help them organize their materials. Taking responsibility for one's own things is an important life skill. Having a Chair Pocket allows students to easily locate daily needed items such as journals and rings with computer log-in code tags. Tables are a new experience for my 5th graders and what "goes in"- doesn't usually "come out" very easily.
There are a lot of students and little room to place their belongings, so Chair Pockets are the perfect solution to help with self organization skills.
They are a wonderful time-saving way for students to find their necessary materials for classroom teaching and learning. The use of Chair Pockets will help with building independence in the school and home setting. Working on organizational skills with a Chair Pocket in 5th grade will help my students to start to build the necessary skills to organize their Desk in the classroom of life.
