Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Flexible seating fosters movement and allows students pair up quickly, work in small groups, or discuss as a whole group. The flexible seating will allow the students to become more self-aware of the seating type of their choice.

Flexible seating will give the children the ability to move.

Letting children choose where to sit gives them choice and helps them make good choices. When kids are comfortable and happy they are willing to learn. Giving students choice in their learning environments and seating choices will give them some identity in their classroom.
