My Project

The materials that I am requesting will assist all of my students but specifically be helpful for my students who benefit from visual supports when learning new information. The calendar, puzzles, and tapestries will provide visual support in associating items with each season. In addition to this, the curtains will allow me to cover up a closet that may act as a distraction for some. Learning about the seasons is a vital skill for young learners.

Knowledge of how seasonal changes can influence animal behavior, ecosystems, weather patterns, and cultural events such as traditions and holidays is important to understanding the world around us.

These materials will help me teach my students new vocabulary while simultaneously practicing word associations, and categories, and using descriptive terminology.
