This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students with Autism have a hard time learning to regulate their emotions. Items such as stories and visuals to help the students see what "zone" they are in will help them identify how to resolve how they are feeling. These items, such as sensory toys and Therapy Putty help them explore and regulate sensory experiences. Painting supplies will be used for various art projects in the classroom.

Sensory items play a crucial role in creating inclusive and engaging classrooms, particularly for students with sensory processing needs.
