Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some lessons are paper and pencil. Some take place in a digital space. But some of the most memorable lessons are creative ones. In fact, we have an extracurricular crafting club at my school, and the kids really get into their projects. We do a lot of cards, greetings, and other encouraging crafts to reach out to members of the community, our teachers, and our fellow students. As we approach teacher appreciation day, we want to do a special project that will (hopefully) stay on the walls of our school for a long time!

We want the crafting club to have its own laminator so we can design and preserve our teacher appreciation display, as well as future projects.

Hopefully, the ability to preserve our work will help us create beautiful keepsakes and treasures that the students can really be proud of for a long time!
