Help me give my students read aloud books that highlight amazing ocean animals during EL Summer School. The keychains will be prizes all students will win during Bingo and vocabulary review games.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each book highlights a different sea creature that students learning English will explore during summer school. Every day students will discover a new animal and hear a read aloud to build vocabulary and learn about these creatures. Students will apply their learning through craft projects that emphasize the animals' characteristics (fin, tail, tentacles, etc.) and habitat.

These books would provide rich non-fiction and fiction read aloud texts for 16 days of summer school fun!

I already own half of the books I need, so these books would complete our library!
