Se Habla Ingles? Parent English Classes

Help me give my students the opportunity to be supported by their parents. We have a community need for parent English classes 1 night/ week during 2nd semester. We would use "English for Everyone" as the text.

My Project

My students and their families are amazing, and they need the support of their entire community in order to succeed. It has been shown that student success increases as their parents become more involved in school.

Sometimes, language is a barrier for our ML families.

We have a large Spanish-speaking population at our school, and we would like to offer parent classes one night a week for 25 interested families. The text I am requesting would serve as the basis for the course, and it also provides opportunities to practice on their own with an activity/practice book.

Parents modeling literacy for their children by participating in the courses would be a benefit to our students.

I have been asked several times if there are English classes available for parents, so I decided to start a class. Thank you in advance for considering this opportunity for our families.
