My Project

We are thrilled to share our endeavor—a student-led project that aligns seamlessly with the Time Kids Monthly Mission of promoting wellness. My group of dyslexia students is passionate about leveraging their unique abilities to make a meaningful impact. Our mission? To bring comfort, hope, and healing to medical facilities through the power of art. The Time Kids Monthly Mission rightfully focuses on wellness, advocating for initiatives that contribute positively to mental, emotional, and physical health. Our project directly resonates with this mission in several profound ways.

Dyslexia is a unique learning difference that often gifts individuals with remarkable creativity, innovative thinking, and exceptional visual-spatial skills.

Harnessing these strengths, we aspire to create uplifting artwork utilizing the latest technology—a Cricut 3 machine.

Our vision is to use the Cricut 3 machine to craft intricate and inspiring designs that will adorn the walls of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare centers. These artworks won't just be decorations; they will serve as sources of hope, encouragement, and serenity for patients, healthcare workers, and visitors.

Your donation will enable my dyslexic students to leverage their strengths and talents. Through this project, they won't just create art; they're breaking stereotypes and showcasing the incredible capabilities of individuals with dyslexia. They will get to utilize concepts previously learned and show their mastery. They will showcase their unique cursive handwriting skills, grammatical abilities, and self-regulation strategies. Art has a proven therapeutic effect on individuals dealing with health challenges. By funding the Cricut 3 machine, the Precision Tools, and Quickswap housing materials, you'll help us produce vibrant, customized artwork that will transform sterile hospital spaces into warm, welcoming, and soothing environments.
