Help me give my students clay and clay tools to create sculptures in art class.

My Project
I have requested clay and clay tools so my students can experience the joy of ceramics. As part of the curriculum, students should have exposure to a variety of art mediums. Many students connect with the tactile nature of clay sculpture, and it offers a very different experience than technical drawing and painting. It can be therapeutic and calming to engage in such a physical activity, and I love offering them a safe space to escape their worries while learning new skills and connecting to classroom learning in a new way. I will use this clay with grades 1-4 as they learn to make slabs, coils, spheres, and pinch pots. These basic forms can be used to make a variety of fun objects that cross-connect with the curriculum in other classes.
