My Project

I am constantly inspired by our scholars' dedication, curiosity, and incredible drive to pursue challenging STEM and healthcare careers. They are not just thinking about their future; they are actively planning it. This program, which encourages them to "Begin with the End in Mind," is designed to harness that energy and give them a tangible path forward.

They show up every day ready to tackle difficult concepts, but what they often lack is the visual representation of the professionals they aspire to be.

We are nurturing the next generation of doctors, nurses, and medical researchers, and they deserve to look the part!

The simple act of wearing scrubs on "Medical Mondays" is a powerful educational and motivational tool. These scrubs are not just uniforms; they are tools for transformation:

Building Professional Identity: When our scholars put on the scrubs, they are immediately stepping into the role of a healthcare professional. This visual change reinforces their commitment and helps them internalize the professional standards they are studying. It’s hands-on identity training.

Creating a Unified Cohort: The scrubs create a visible, unified cohort of aspiring medical professionals. This boosts team spirit, encourages peer-to-peer mentorship, and builds a sense of belonging among students who share challenging career goals.

Increasing Visibility and Pride: The visual presence of the scrubs across campus generates excitement and conversation. It publicly recognizes their ambition and gives them a great sense of pride in their program and their future path. It makes their career goals feel real and immediate.
