Help me give my students and library a full color led scrolling sign on which to advertise special monthly celebrations, new books, and special events.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Wilkins's classroom raised $197
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our students attend a rural public high school, which serves about 530 students. We are located in an area where the socioeconomic status of many residents is low. Many students have parents who are out of work. Our school relies heavily on state funding and this year, we are struggling once again due to Covid-19. Budgets are being cut and our students are feeling the brunt. Our students are creative and kind and they strive to reach their goals no matter what obstacles they face. They continue to achieve success despite more challenges and fewer resources. They forge ahead without complaints. Although funds are low, our students' passion for books hasn't dulled one bit. Please help keep this thirst for literature alive by supporting our school.
My Project
Help us update our library and incorporate technology while delivering news and information to our students. With this sign, students will always know about special monthly celebrations, school news, and library news just by walking by the library. The goal of this sign is to entice students into the library where they can explore a world inside fiction and nonfiction books, as well as to educate students about library happenings and information.
Libraries are worlds where kids can strengthen their literacy skills, connect with others, research, or just relax and be.
Please help us invite kids in with attractive and captivating signage that incorporates technology and that is colorful and interactive.
