My Project
My 4th grade students are full of energy, creativity, and curiosity. They love to work together, play games, and find new ways to connect to one another. Our classroom is a place where learning is hands-on, fun, and community-driven.
In a world filled with screens, I want to give my students more opportunities to unplug and engage in meaningful, face-to-face interactions.
I am requesting a collection of classic and educational board games like Sorry!, Trouble, Boggle, Checkers, Farkle, and more to bring more screen-free fun into our classroom.
These games will be used during indoor recess, free choice, and small group times. They will help students build on important skills like communication, teamwork, strategy, patience, and resilience- all while having fun without a screen in sight!
Board game promote social emotional learning, and help students strengthen relationships, manage emotions, and think critically, leading to personal and academic success.
With your help, our classroom can become a place where students grow through play, laughter, and connection with no devices required!
