My 4th graders are absolutely loving the new board games! The moment they see the games come out, the room fills with laughter, teamwork, and excitement. Students who might not usually connect during academics are now collaborating, communicating, and cheering each other on.\r\n\r\nThe games have become a favorite part of indoor recess, free-choice time, and small group rotations. They give students a chance to unplug from screens and engage in meaningful, face-to-face interactions. I've noticed growth in their social-emotional skills—especially in patience, cooperation, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nThanks to this donation, my classroom feels more connected and joyful. And when I explained they get to dissect this \"throw-up\" they were excited. The activity took us over an hour and students were able to name the bones using their scientific names. I heard many times \"hey, I found a femur\", \"this is the pelvis\", and \"I have an entire skill with a mandible\". \r\n\r\nThis activity brought science to life for my students and we couldn't have done it without your help. The addition of headphones and computer mice has completely changed the way my students engage with technology. The computer mice have also made navigating our programs much easier, especially for students who struggled with touchpads. Tasks that once felt frustrating are now smooth and manageable, giving students more independence and confidence in their work.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was immediate—students cheered as the headphones and mice were unpacked! One student who usually gets overwhelmed during online math practice told me, \"It's so much easier with these!\" Another student who has been hesitant with reading activities online now proudly works through assignments with ease. These small tools have had a huge impact, turning what used to be stressful moments into positive, productive learning experiences.\r\n\r\nAs we continue to use these resources, my students will be able to engage more deeply in literacy programs, math practice, and research projects without the constant interruptions or frustrations of technology struggles. My students' eyes lit up as we unpacked the new math manipulatives, and they couldn't wait to get their hands on them. The small cup counters quickly became a class favorite. We used them to explore division strategies, and it was amazing to watch lightbulb moments happen around the room. Students who once felt unsure about division were suddenly able to see and understand the process in a hands-on way.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments came during a small group lesson where students practiced dividing counters into equal groups. A student who had been struggling with division suddenly exclaimed, \"Oh, I get it now!\" That joy and confidence spread to others at the table, and the room filled with energy as students proudly shared their solutions. These tools have not only strengthened their math skills but also boosted their confidence and excitement for learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, my students will continue using these manipulatives to deepen their understanding of multiplication, division, and fractions. Having concrete, hands-on tools makes abstract math concepts much more approachable, and I know this will support them throughout the year. Your support provided essential materials such as writing supplies, colorful resources, and a beautifully arranged writing desk space; all of which have had an immediate and meaningful impact on our students.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the writing center was set up, it became clear just how much our students needed a place like this to call their own. It's been incredible to see their eyes light up as they walk over to explore the vibrant tools and cozy, organized space where they can let their creativity flow. The writing center has quickly become one of the most popular spots in our classroom, and the excitement it has sparked around writing is beyond what we could have hoped for.\r\n\r\nThroughout the school day, students are frequently found in the writing center engaging in all kinds of writing activities. Whether they are creating grocery lists during pretend play, drawing pictures and composing stories, or making heartfelt get-well cards for classmates and teachers who are out sick, their interest in writing has taken off in the most heartwarming way. \r\n\r\nThis writing center has become more than just a place to practice handwriting or spelling; it has become a hub for self-expression, kindness, communication, and imagination. Students who once hesitated to put pencil to paper are now confidently filling pages with their thoughts, stories, and well-wishes. It's clear that having a designated, welcoming space stocked with inviting supplies has helped them feel empowered to explore writing in a fun and meaningful way.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has not only provided materials but has also inspired a lasting love for literacy in our students. You've helped create an environment where writing is not a chore, but a joy and for that, we are truly grateful.
