This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school likes to think of itself as a progressive school, however, the lack of technology within its walls contradicts this idea. Unfortunately, the technology we have in the school does not meet the demands of the student needs.

At the moment, my classroom uses one television screen to display slide shows and conduct lessons using this technology, but having only one screen makes it difficult to view from all seats in the classroom, whether because of the angle of the view or the distance from the screen.

An additional mounted television would greatly aid my students use of the technology, their ability to view and utilize the screen to support their learning, as well as provide support for those students impaired with vision and/or hearing issues.

An additional source for viewing will make the my lessons more accessible and convenient for all students, not just those with a seat with a good view.
