We use a projector and pull down screen in two rooms. Even with dimmed rooms, the display image is washed out and it is very impractical to move a projector from a room to another. As a result, students have difficulty observing the presentations and presenting their projects. When my students present, they learn to reflect on their own culture, learn from other cultures, appreciate the work of others, and practice individual and group decision making. Lessons, demonstrations, and presentations are currently viewed by our students through the use of a laptop and projector. Using a TV instead of projector produces more vivid colors and is more exciting to the students. This invites them to engage in using technology in their learning. When students practice interpersonal communication and presentational activities with their peers, they gain excellent preparation and skills for college and career presentations.
