My Students
Without fail I have a student ask in theater class "Can we make a movie?" or "Can we write a play?" I want to encourage this creativity but the scripts they turn in are so poorly formatted they are almost unreadable.
Our kids are some of the smartest, funniest, most creative kids on the planet.
Even though they come from a very tough background they work hard and want to write movies. They are always going above and beyond on assigned products and taking simple exercises and turning them into short films.
My Project
This program is the industry standard and allows students to write in both the format of a screenplay and the format used by playwrights for the stage. This one simple piece of software will allow our kids to write spec scripts for film and television.
This is the exact type of technology that will make a student into a professional.
