This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During the pandemic many students had hours upon hours of screen time. These Sphero Indi kits for coding purposes will be used without an iPad. This will give my students opportunities to problem solve, enhance their coding abilities while not being on a screen.
Kindergarten students learn about technology at such an early age and providing them the opportunity to use technology beside a screen will enhance their critical thinking.
I try to provide many hands-on learning opportunities in the classroom, and these would add to my bag of amazing activities. These materials are used during center activities in both reading and math.
