My Project

The requested items play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience for students. By providing specific items such as fidget toys, I will be providing anxiety-reducing items in my classroom while allowing students to decompress and continue to thrive. My goals for this project are to bring physical elements into my classroom to help my student’s mental health. Looking beyond academic content, I aim to instill a love for learning, critical thinking skills, and curiosity. I want students to embrace lifelong learning and I want them to learn coping techniques in class that they can institute in their daily lives to improve their mental health. Each student brings a rich tapestry of cultural, linguistic, and experiential backgrounds. Many of my students suffer from anxiety and the daily struggle of teenage life. I am hoping that bringing in a variety of calming devices it will help improve their overall well-being.
