This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love about my students is they engage with each other and enjoy our P.E. lessons. Their willingness to learn and participate in all activities makes them special to me. The scooters will add to their excitement and participation during class.
These scooters will provide multiple opportunities to build and create fundamental skills which are necessary for large gross motor development.
For example, the use of their legs to push the scooters across the floor builds leg muscle and coordination. In addition to building large motor skills, students will also benefit from large and small group cooperative learning and team work.
