My classroom is filled with a wide range of grade levels, Kindergarten through fifth grade, and kiddos who enjoy being active and challenged. My students live in a variety of homes - apartments, rentals, mobile homes, and single-family homes.
As a physical educator, I make sure my classroom is inviting to students of all ability levels and all interests.
We are a Title I school with a large percentage of free/reduced-price lunch and breakfast. My students are hard working and want to learn. This makes them fun to teach.
My Project
I would like to have enough large scooter boards for each of my students. This is an expensive endeavor and will towards it slowly. It is also important to have proper storage so that they will last for a long time.
My students enjoy spending time on scooter boards, no matter their age.
I like to incorporate scooter boards into different activities. I would like to have the large sized scooter boards so that all of my students - all ages, shapes, and sizes - can comfortably use the scooters and have fun with our activity.
We like to play games like Human Hungry Hippo. We also use them to do relays. Receiving these boards would get us closer to all students having a scooter board.
