This has made a big difference in my art classroom. With your support, I was able to find high-quality, ready-to-use lesson plans and activities created by other art teachers. These resources helped me bring fresh, engaging ideas to my students — including projects that connect art to other subjects like science, social-emotional learning, and even reading!\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting things for my students has been trying out new projects they've never done before. For example, we recently used a lesson plan that guided students through creating animal portraits — including raccoons! They loved learning fun facts about the animals while also experimenting with shapes, colors, and textures. Having these new resources has kept students excited about art, and it has saved me hours of planning time so I can focus more on helping students create and learn.\r\n\r\nSome of my students who are usually a little shy during art time have really connected with these lessons. One student who normally rushes through assignments took extra time on a \"create your own art museum\" activity — and ended up presenting her work to the class with pride! Thank you again for supporting creativity, learning, and joy in our classroom through your kind gift.","fullyFundedDate":1754869533514,"projectUrl":"project/enhancing-my-classroom-for-all/9382248/","projectTitle":"Enhancing My Classroom for All","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Patrick","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5652183_orig.jpg?crop=1449,1449,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1566654682911","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/art4u"},{"teacherId":5652183,"projectId":9515249,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for giving our class Sharpie markers and Crayola colorful markers! When we opened the box, the kids were so excited — some of them gasped and said, \"These are the good markers!\" They couldn't wait to start drawing. The Sharpies made it easy to outline their artwork, and the colorful markers helped them add bright, bold colors to every piece. It felt like we had brand new superpowers for art!\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite projects so far was an \"All About Me\" poster. The students used the Sharpies to write their names and important words that describe them, then added colorful drawings and symbols with the Crayola markers. The posters turned out amazing, and the kids were so proud to hang them in the hallway for everyone to see. It was a great way for them to share who they are — and your donation made that possible!\r\n\r\nNext, we're starting a wild life project, where each student will create their raccoon. Thanks to you, we have the perfect supplies to make their art work really shine. Your support has made a big difference in our classroom, and my students were absolutely thrilled when they saw all the new supplies. There were so many excited voices as they opened the boxes — one student even shouted, \"We finally have enough black crayons!\" (a color we always seem to run out of). It was such a joyful moment.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the crayons to great use in a self-portrait project where students used color to express emotions. Having a full set of crayons — especially the black ones for outlining and details — helped them bring their ideas to life in a way they couldn't before. One student carefully outlined her curly hair and added shadows to her drawing, proudly holding it up and saying, \"Now it really looks like me!\" These supplies gave students the tools they needed to take their creativity to the next level.\r\n\r\nNext, we're starting a unit on raccoons and having access to complete crayon sets means they can focus on their art without worrying about limited materials.
