My Students

It doesn't take much to get my students excited about new games and things to learn. From the Kindergarten level all the way to fifth grade I can always count on them to be ready for a new adventure.

I love that my students are passionate about their time in our PE classes.

But often their surroundings and environment tell a different story. Extra resources are tough to come by in our school; this is especially true for resource classes.

My Project

Scooter boards are great tool in for physical education classes because they are simple but still great fun for all students. Scooters are great because they a novel item that makes other games new and exciting. One unique game is scooter soccer that is played like regular soccer but every student is on a scooter. Not only does this make the games more fun but it also increases the students activity level. Games that incorporate new things create an opportunity for students to work together while overcoming an obstacle.

My goal as a physical education teacher, beyond getting my students active, is to show them that they can overcome obstacles in their life by working hard together.
