My Project

Scooters will give my students with special needs the opportunity to engage with their peers during recess. Mobility, for some of my students, is hard and alternate activities during outdoor and indoor recess will help them become more independent.

Providing scooters and paddles will enhance my student's confidence, social and emotional skills, independency, and communication skills with their peers.

Along with the scooters, paddles to help go, and storage all increase independent skills and the opportunity to interact with their peers, which is very important for all of the students. During indoor recess, scooters will provide my students much needed resources to help get the wiggles out.

I love watching my students grow into independent individuals who crave time with their peers. This project will incorporate all students to interact with each other and encourage communication between them.
