My Project

A huge focus in my classroom is teaching students how to self manage and self assess so they can set themselves up for success. Once they have become more skilled at this, I have noticed that they take more responsibility for their learning by choosing different seating options in the classroom. At the time, we do not have many choices for alternative seating and learning.

Lap desks and scoop chairs will give some variety to the choices that my students can make for their best learning within the classroom.

Sometimes all it takes is a little change to make a huge difference. Having a lap desk or scoop chair to sit in might be just the thing to help my students make the best choices and be more focused on their learning.
