The future is moving fast, where computers have become a part of our everyday lives. As a result, it is important that our inner city kids have the opportunity to become exposed to the different electronic platforms in order to compete in society.
Stand up for my students!
It takes a village to help bring up a child in the world in which we live in! With your help, I will be able to serve as an asset to our students educational, social, and behavioral experiences! Ensuring our students are prepared for the world that is enriched in electronics, gives them the fighting chance to thrive in our current society!
Science is such a fun and engaging subject! One in which happens to be my favorite to teach because of the amount of creativity I incorporate into each lesson. Scissors and sticky notes are frequently used within our interactive Science notebooks! The colorful sticky notes help allows students to sort through the information in their notebooks quickly and also serve as a way for students to remember the content. The folders and notebooks contribute to an organized environment which is essential when participating in different experiments within the classroom. Also, the donation of the TIME Magazine subscription is an excellent addition to our Science curriculum. It gives students a chance to see what is going on in our world, especially as it relates to Science. One thing I absolutely love about my school, is the fact that teachers are given the opportunity to modify the curriculum to the needs of students. One way in which I am sure to accommodate the different type of learners in the classroom is by utilizing the resources of Teachers Pay Teachers. There is an abundance of great Science resources!
