Kids are like sponges, they absorb everything that they encounter, whether it's what they learn at school or home. Worrying about food, money, transportation, and clothing are adult worries, yet many of the students at my school face these grown-up problems each day.
In spite of the challenges they face, my students constantly rise to the occasion and frequently blow me away with their ability to learn.
I want to give my amazing students every opportunity they deserve and then some.
My Project
We currently have limited hands-on materials to use to further enhance our science lessons. Each investigation, we scramble to put together enough materials for all of our students to explore with at the same time. Having plenty of high-quality, hands-on science materials like a variety of magnets, light bulbs for electricity, STEM electrical circuit kits, fossil kits, and rocks and minerals kits will help my students explore and investigate to make their learning more meaningful and exciting.
With more science lab equipment and materials, our science lab investigations will be more beneficial to their learning.
